2nd Lieutenant Jeffery C. Graham Memorial Scholarship

The 2nd Lieutenant Jeffrey C. Graham Memorial Scholarship” was created in 2005 to honor the memory of 2nd Lieutenant Jeffrey C. Graham, a 2003 civil engineering graduate who was killed in Iraq on February 19, 2004. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence in their civil engineering studies. We will always remember Jeff Graham’s commitment and sacrifice for our nation.

Mining Engineering Enhancement Fund

Gifts to the Mining Engineering Enhancement Fund can supplement existing operating budgets or provide revenue that can be directed toward emerging needs and opportunities such as scholarships, faculty support, facility enhancement and unrestricted support for departments. This valuable support allows the college to be flexible and responsive and demonstrate the truth that there is power in numbers.

SEEK Kamp

The Summer Engineering Exploration Kamp (SEEK) will feature hands-on learning opportunities, guest speakers from engineering companies, and field trips to active project sites for rising high school seniors.

William Paul Jakobi Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in memory of William Paul Jakobi (1999-2020). In 2017, William Paul enrolled at the University to pursue an engineering degree. He was involved in several programs at the University, including the UK Formula SAE team, Young Life, and a 12-step recovery program. He was kind, compassionate, and had a desire to help others. The scholarship was created to honor his life and generous spirit, and to encourage people to help others in need.

Wheeler Engineering Opportunity Fund (Endowed) Support the Long-Term Mission of Paducah Campus.

This fund honors Kenneth Wheeler, a longtime volunteer and supporter who was among the early advocates who helped bring the engineering program to Paducah in 1998. This endowed fund is designed to support the long-term mission of the college like facilities, lab technology and teaching equipment.

Wheeler Engineering Opportunity Fund Support the Short-Term Mission of the Paducah Campus

This fund honors Kenneth Wheeler, a longtime volunteer and supporter who was among the early advocates who helped bring the engineering program to Paducah in 1998. The Wheeler Engineering Opportunity Fund is designed to support the sort-term mission of the Paducah Campus like, scholarships and technology accessibility for students.

E-Day Gift Fund Engineers Day

E-Day is the largest STEM celebration in the state and serves as a self-paced open house for the Pigman College of Engineering. 3,000 people attend annually with over 100 exhibits. This event is free and open to the public.
